Myra was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was 2 years old.

For Myra, pediatric leukemia didn’t look like what you picture. There was no bruising or weight loss. And no lack of energy, as she raced through the hospital hallways between tests.

That’s why, when she had hip pain, night sweats and frequent fevers, cancer wasn’t even on the radar. “It seemed like a virus. She was so healthy. She never looked like a kid with cancer.” It all started during peak COVID pandemic. She was admitted to Levine Children’s hospital on 5/5/2020 after found out abnormal blood report during pediatrician visit due to frequent episode of fever with right hip pain.

After her two year battle with cancer, Myra rang the bell on July 15th, 2022 to mark the end of her treatment! We are so proud of the strength and courage she has maintained throughout the entire process. We love being able to support Myra, her sister Mishti, and her parents Ami & Pulkit. 💛🎗 #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth #coolkidsclubhouse #strength #determination #warrior #courage #support #bravery #cancerfearsme #GoldRibbonHero
