Our History

In December 2019, the Cool Kids Clubhouse opened in Huntersville, NC, named in honor of Dan Jansen, Cool Kids Board Member and 1994 Olympic gold medalist speed skater.

Our goal is to improve their quality of life and reduce the social isolation, sadness, and academic loss they experience with a cancer diagnosis.

At the Clubhouse, we host a variety of FREE programs that directly benefit the child with cancer, their siblings, and their parents and provide much needed emotional support.

News

I want you to know just how special and important our visit to the clubhouse was for our family this past weekend, and to thank you both so so much for your outstanding hospitality, kindness, and care.

Cool Kid Mom

Thank you so much 💛 we are so grateful to you all and CKC for welcoming us and having a place and sense of community.

Cool kids went above and beyond. Oh my gosh, my kids were spoiled rotten. They loved every gift!!!

Thank you so much for listening to them, and supporting them. You helped to make this Christmas easier on us parents and doubly blessed our children. Please tell all of the donors thank you soooo much.
