Our Houses of Hope awareness project, in its fourth year, was designed to allow some of our “cool kids” the chance to express themselves as people rather than cancer patients and statistics. It also brings much needed awareness to pediatric cancer in general. Annually in the Baltimore area alone, Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital, University of Maryland Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital at Sinai treat hundreds of children for various cancers. This does not factor in the thousands of kids who are living as survivors with the long-term lingering effects of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. The 2015 Houses of Hope exhibit were featured in three Baltimore area malls from August 3-16.
Thanks to The Mall in Columbia, White Marsh Mall, and Towson Town Center for hosting!
